Out of the Ashes Rises...

SCRAP-A-THON!!!

OK...we'll just ignore the fact that it's been six months or so since I've posted on this blog.  It's OK.  I've been scrapping :).  I've been working on my oldest's first year book and have about 90 of the 125 pages done so I'm feeling good.  To add to that, I participated in ScrapMatters' Customer Appreciation Scrap-a-thon this past weekend and I scrapped THIRTEEN...yes you heard that right...13!! pages in three days.  I think about 6 has been the most I've ever done before and they're pages I'm not ashamed to print in a book, either.  I think switching to PSE and buying some shadow styles has really sped me up.  Anyway, I thought I'd share all thirteen of those pages here.  The challenges were all inspired by Dr. Seuss books so I'll let you know what those were, too.  So, here they are, in no particular order...

Summer Scrapping

Really, summer scrapping just hasn't happened for me this summer.  Between being gone so much and being incredibly tired since I am pregnant, I haven't had as much time as I'd like for scrapping.  I have got a few pages done, though, and I'm moving along in my oldest's first year book.  I just thought I'd share a couple of my favourites that I've done this summer.

iNSD Layouts

Well, it was a week and a bit ago but I'm finally catching up from iNSD!  I managed to get 5 layouts done on Saturday and that was my goal, so I'm happy.  That's about all I can do in a day.  I did do one more layout on Sunday so it was a very productive weekend.  (Oh, and I did a TON of shopping :) ).

So what are you doing for iNSD??  I'm so excited for this weekend.  I find that I tend to get a bunch of scrapping done on intense weekends like this and the pages always end up being ones that I love!  So where are you shopping?  I'll have to hit the usuals...Oscraps, ScrapMatters and Scrap Orchard.  Then, I think I'll also hit up The Lilypad.  As for fun and games...I'm going to try to hang out at ScrapMatters (check their schedule out here) and Scrap Orchard (their schedule is here).  There are already two speed scraps and a chat tonight so it should be fun!!
