Summer Scrapping

Really, summer scrapping just hasn't happened for me this summer.  Between being gone so much and being incredibly tired since I am pregnant, I haven't had as much time as I'd like for scrapping.  I have got a few pages done, though, and I'm moving along in my oldest's first year book.  I just thought I'd share a couple of my favourites that I've done this summer.

I so love the texture of this background paper and the kit I used is just so pretty (but I managed to make it boyish :) )!

iNSD Layouts

Well, it was a week and a bit ago but I'm finally catching up from iNSD!  I managed to get 5 layouts done on Saturday and that was my goal, so I'm happy.  That's about all I can do in a day.  I did do one more layout on Sunday so it was a very productive weekend.  (Oh, and I did a TON of shopping :) ).

Amber over at Stolen Moments is one of my favourite designers.  I love everything she makes.  Well, on her FB page, she was taking suggestions for iNSD kits.  I posted a colour palette using a fabulous wallpaper I'd found online and she took that and made this kit!  It's a girly kit but I don't care...I just had to buy it anyway!

So what are you doing for iNSD??  I'm so excited for this weekend.  I find that I tend to get a bunch of scrapping done on intense weekends like this and the pages always end up being ones that I love!  So where are you shopping?  I'll have to hit the usuals...Oscraps, ScrapMatters and Scrap Orchard.  Then, I think I'll also hit up The Lilypad.  As for fun and games...I'm going to try to hang out at ScrapMatters (check their schedule out here) and Scrap Orchard (their schedule is here).  There are already two speed scraps and a chat tonight so it should be fun!!

Scrapper Bowl

So, this past weekend was the Super Bowl. Usually I watch at least part of the game but this year I only sat down for the last few minutes. I will say that I was happy with the outcome and thought it would be a good game...so why didn't I watch then? Scrapper Bowl!! I headed over to Scrap Orchard for the day for chats, speed scraps and challenges. I had a ton of fun (4 chats and 5 pages later...as well as a ton of goodies!) and I love my pages. I was just saying that, I'm not sure why, but these intense weekends of scrapping often seem to produce my favourite pages. Maybe I stop over thinking things...I don't know. Anyway, I want to share my five layouts from the weekend with you. I'm working on my eldest son's first year book, in case you can't tell :).

I'm Back!

Hi all! I know this blog is sadly neglected but the craziness of December is done now, so hopefully I will post some more. I also am hoping to finish my oldest's first year book this year so I'm hoping to do more scrapping that way.
